Dear friends, we are delighted to celebrate our wedding with you in Torekov, one of our favourite places in the world. This website is here to give you all the information needed to make the weekend smooth, joyful, and magical.

The main event

Our big day is finally here! The meeting place is G.Swensons Lada at 14.30. Join us there for drinks before the ceremony. The actual location of the ceremony is weather dependent, but transport will be arranged for all guests who are at the Lada.

Before everyone heads off, we’d love to see you one last time for a slow and sunny start to the day. Join us for a casual brunch and hangout back at G.Swensons.

Dress code: Summer Nice - think effortless and elegant summer style. Light fabrics, linen, and color are all welcome, but feel free to dress up a little.

Saturday – Wedding Day 

Dress code: Suit & ties for men, and the equivalent for women. We encourage a celebratory and elegant mood.

Sunday – Brunch

Dress code: Relaxed and comfortable. Whatever you need to make it through the morning after.

Gifts

We truly value thoughtful and personal gifts. However, for your convenience, we’ll also have a wedding registry available (details to come) for anyone who prefers to choose from our list.

FAQ

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
We kindly ask all guests to arrive at G.Swensons Lada at 1430. The ceremony begins around 1600, but the exact location is weather dependent.

What does G.Swensons Lada mean? Are you getting married in a Soviet car?
It means “barn” in Swedish. We are getting married in a barn

Are children welcome?
We are afraid children are not welcome. Our Freja will be there for a bit but she is ours so deal with it.

I’d like to give a speech – how do I do that?
All speeches must be planned in advance. Please contact our toastmaster/ -madame if you’d like to speak or arrange something – spontaneous speeches will not be possible during the dinner. 

The venue for the dinner
The venue for the dinner and party – G.Swensons Lada – is located just outside Torekov, and it’s easily accessible by car. Parking is available right next to the venue.
